Written on
Chapter 1: A Visionary Encounter
At the Deep Tech Atelier conference in Riga, Latvia, held in 2021, I had the honor of being the headline keynote speaker. This conference concentrated on topics such as the commercialization of science, medical technology, space technology, and innovative startups.
Deep Tech Atelier 2021 was a virtual event that reached over 40 countries, organized by Latvia’s Investment and Development Agency (LIAA).
For those unfamiliar with me, you might wonder: Who am I and what drives my passion? My journey began with challenges; I faced setbacks in professional football and was expelled from university, leaving me at a crossroads at 25. Now, 25 years later, I am transforming my aspirations into reality, igniting significant cultural and technological advancements while motivating countless entrepreneurs to make a positive impact. I identify as a futurist, public speaker, and cause-driven artist. With five successful exits under my belt, I also support 24 social enterprises.
I am particularly passionate about launching technology initiatives that promote good causes and creating NFT programs for artists, athletes, brands, and events. We guide them in moving beyond superficial fan relationships to genuinely own their intellectual property and connections.
In this summary, we present our keynote highlights for your inspiration. Experience four pieces of video content that have been released simultaneously within this narrative.

Chapter 2: A Controversial Discussion
We kick off the special with a thought-provoking segment: The Great Reset or the Great Acceleration? This addresses the duality of technology as both an empowering and controlling force in society. The ability to envision the future empowers us to craft it. What do we truly desire?
The censorship witnessed during the pandemic, orchestrated by major tech companies, poses a significant threat to our society and democratic values. By moving beyond superficial fan engagements, we eliminate intermediaries from our connections.
Next, you can view my opening keynote: "Acceleration in an Era of Chaos and Change." This presentation explores how brands and businesses can leverage emerging trends and exponential technologies in the 21st century.
In my concluding keynote, titled "Imagination Sparks Social Innovation," I guide the global audience through the realm of human-centered social innovation and entrepreneurship. How can technology facilitate positive change?
During a fireside chat, we delved into my vision for the future of work, humanity, and society. I engaged with the audience during the Ask Me Anything session, addressing thought-provoking queries.
Chapter 3: Keynote Highlights
In my keynote focus on "The Great Reset vs. The Great Acceleration," I discuss essential topics such as: Building Back Better, the juxtaposition of one billion people living in poverty against two billion facing obesity, and the overall state of global healthcare.
What ethical principles, values, and purpose-driven leadership are necessary to forge a brighter future? How will we tackle the pandemic, climate change, and safeguard our freedom of expression and democratic institutions?
Furthermore, how can we navigate the challenges posed by mainstream media and big tech? We must also consider the implications of surveillance societies, social credit systems, and totalitarian regimes.
Chapter 4: Embracing Change and Innovation
In my keynote titled "Acceleration in an Era of Chaos and Change," I shared insights on how Industry 4.0 will influence trends and technologies that will redefine brands, businesses, nations, and humanity itself.
Who will emerge as winners and losers? How can you capitalize on these trends for exponential growth? This evolution is more akin to Digital Darwinism—a revolution rather than mere evolution. Over the next three decades, humanity will witness transformations that surpass those of the previous 300 years.
Chapter 5: Social Innovation as a Guiding Principle
In my keynote "Imagination Sparks Social Innovation," I explored the concept of human-centered social innovation. How can we implement social entrepreneurship to foster a cleaner, brighter future?
I emphasized the importance of authentic leadership versus superficial marketing tactics, urging everyone to be genuine in their endeavors.
Every year, I inspire millions to harness business as a force for good, advocating for scalable social entrepreneurship.
Chapter 6: Engaging Dialogue and Future Perspectives
In a fireside chat followed by an Ask Me Anything session, we discussed strategies for achieving your ambitions, conquering fears, and pursuing dreams.
Topics included the fascination with space and space technology, the mindset of screenagers, the future of work and education, the role of robots and AI, and the wisdom inherent in ancient knowledge. We explored how misfits can indeed change the world.
I extend my gratitude to moderator Artis Ozoliņš for the insightful questions posed during our discussion.
Chapter 7: Noteworthy Keynote Speakers
I also appreciated the insights from other keynote speakers at the conference. Rick Tumlinson, Chairman of SpaceFund and EarthLight Foundation, delivered an inspiring talk entitled "The Space Revolution—A History and Manifesto," focusing on the future of commercial space travel and its potential to benefit humanity.
