Chapter 1: A New Perspective on Life
Who says it's impossible to reinvent your life in your 30s?

On April 18, I marked another milestone in my career within the IT sector. As I reflect on the past few years, I am in awe of how dramatically my life has shifted.
Had it not been for the lockdowns during the pandemic in 2020, I likely would have continued on the same path as before—perhaps writing articles on LinkedIn and Medium wouldn't have crossed my mind. I would have retained the same beliefs and mindset, and you wouldn’t be reading my thoughts today.
Despite any accomplishments, there remains a sense of incompleteness, a feeling I currently share.
When I embarked on my professional journey, many assured me that in 15 years, I'd be at an executive level, earning well and enjoying life. This dream is one many have been sold, and I was no exception.
Believe me when I say—I thought I had everything figured out. My role and company felt like a perfect setup, leading me to sacrifice other aspects of life.
Certainly, there were moments of misery when I faced tasks I didn’t enjoy, or dealt with unkind seniors (I tend to be quite sensitive). Yet, I was told by others that everyone goes through tough times, and I shouldn’t complain.
“Everyone has a challenging start,” is a common refrain.
Now, I find myself contemplating the true meaning of my career and its significance to me.
A small part of me still wonders what my life could have been had I chased different dreams. You might think I’m losing my mind.
But dreams aren’t inherently good or bad—they simply exist. It’s our responsibility to shape them into reality.
One thing is certain: I would still have made an impact on others' lives, just in a different manner. I derive a profound sense of fulfillment from helping others, a realization I wish I'd had sooner.
Which path is superior?
I cannot say. However, I have something crucial to share that could transform your life.
Whenever you feel stagnant and yearn for change, keep this in mind—regardless of your choice, commit wholeheartedly to making the most of it. If you’re alive, you can certainly do it.
What follows is beyond your control, but your reactions are entirely yours. We live in a world where conformity often overshadows individuality.
I assure you, once you discover your true self, you will no longer need to seek purpose for happiness. You’ll have it all sorted out.
I believe this realization can make a significant difference in your life.
