Lately, I've encountered significant delays in receiving notifications, especially those that notify me of comments on my articles. It seems that I'm not alone; many other writers on Medium are experiencing similar frustrations. Some notifications arrive a staggering 12 hours late, while others fail to show up entirely.

What’s going on, Medium?!

I understand that technology can be unpredictable, but given Medium's size and influence, I hope for a more consistent experience. As a community-driven platform, it’s crucial to maintain communication, as neglecting it—intentionally or not—can harm the community's vibrancy.

I genuinely want to ensure that all my readers feel acknowledged and valued. Engagement is essential for our community's success!

I don't want to leave any comments without acknowledgment or responses. However, I’m beginning to realize that if I don’t sift through my 188 articles, I might overlook comments from readers eager to interact—just as I am eager to connect with them.

So, Medium, I implore you—please resolve this issue.

Platforms like Facebook and Instagram bombard me with notifications, many of which are irrelevant. Yet, I deeply value this space, my fellow writers, and my dedicated readers.

Let’s not allow technical difficulties to undermine our community. Writers should focus on crafting content and engaging with readers in real-time, rather than combing through old posts for missed comments. This approach simply isn’t sustainable.
